Garden Pocket Card

Hi Everyone,
Today I wanted to share a Garden themed pocket that I created for another swap I am going be hosting on Your Paper Pantry. I had so much fun putting it together. I started with a manila file folder that I cut down to 4 3/4 size and then folded it up and over. After adhering the paper I then sewed the edges and from then it was all about the embellishing and making cute tags to go in it. I am still in love with the K&Company Brenda Walton paper line that came out last year. Joanne's still carries the product so they must like it too. Of course I had to go back and get more at 40% off this week.I also went back to my burlap and crochet trim that I got from Linda on her Funkie Junkie Boutique Zibet Store.I added a seed packet of Cosmos just to make it even a little more special.
Enjoy the pictures and leave a comment.

I love hearing what you think.

Stampendous Dress Form Card challenge and I WON!

This is a card that I did for another card challenge for Frilly and Funkie's Sunday share and I WON. It's one of those stamps that jumped out to me and I knew I had to have it. I walked in Archiver's one day and there she was just beckoning me on to buy her. I couldn't resist and when I went to make her into something worthy of her beauty it was not hard. I again used the lovely Pion paper line and lovely crochet trim from Linda's Funkie Junkie Boutique Zibbet store. The two just went hand in hand.I stamped the image on old book text and fussy cut it to adhere to the spellbinders die. I used Tim's crackle on the flower and used a lovely blue glitter on the heart. I love how it turned out and hope you do too.

Card Share

Hi to everyone and I hope this finds you enjoying some beautiful Spring days. We had a much needed weekend getaway to Kristen's home town where I got to attend a bridal shower on Saturday and then a wonderful Easter Sunday with her huge family. It was a great time.
Today I wanted to share a card I created with that wonderful new Pion paper I purchased a few weeks ago on Linda's http://www.zibbet.com/TheFunkieJunkie .I used a little bit of Tim Holtz distress to color the cheeks, my Copic for the flowers and used Glossy Accents to make the flowers stand out a bit. I used a spellbinders die for the layout which is a favorite and adhered little flower appliques and crochet trim which are also found in her zibbet store. The flower was created with Tim's small tattered flower die. I put the little flower applique in the middle and tied a double twine string around it. I love how it turned out.
This next card was stamped with one of my very favorite Hero Arts stamp.I joined my first challenge on Frilly and Funkie and used some of the wonderful screen purchased on her website. I also used my copics to color in the petals and then used DS Fairy Dust to make it sparkle. I used TH distress inks for the back ground to warm it up a bit. The sentiment was backed on Linda's cool screening which I mentioned that made it just pop. How did she come up with screen? I just love her ideas. The seam binding was sprayed with Lindy's and a pin and bead were then added for an accent.

FLEETING FLEA ...Vintage Spectacular

Just a short blog today with Vintage goodness coming your way.
I was driving home Friday afternoon wondering what to do now when I saw the sign that read Vintage Sale ahead. Nows that's the type of sign that makes my wheels screech. My day was complete ladies.

Just wanted to share the goodness. Enjoy.
